Steven
Owner / Technician / MOT Tester
Steven’s been in the trade since 1994, starting straight out of school. He did a BTEC National Diploma in Automobile Engineering and began his career as an apprentice at Rover. In 1996, he moved to Halfords, working his way up to Service Manager. After a stint managing at Equipe Tyre & Autocare, he set up Adams in 2019. He’s recently added an IMI Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle qualification to the mix.
Stuart
Owner / Technician / MOT Tester
Stuart’s been in the motor trade since 1985. He got his start at Queens Garage on the East Lancs and earned his City & Guilds Level 3 there. In 1990, he joined Halfords, then moved over to Equipe Tyre & Autocare in 2016. He teamed up with Steven to launch Adams in 2019. Like the rest of the team, he’s now qualified in Electric/Hybrid Vehicles with the IMI Level 3.
Ben
Technician
Ben joined us straight from school and has been with Adams for nearly five years now. He qualified as a Level 2 Autocare Technician in 2023 and recently passed his IMI Level 3 in Electric/Hybrid Vehicles. He’s a key part of the team and always ready to get stuck in.
Jamie
Apprentice
Jamie came on board in September 2024 straight from school and is currently working through his apprenticeship. He spends one day a week at college and the rest learning hands-on with us in the workshop.
